Conditions of Hire

a) The Club will be clean and tidy for the start time of your function.

b) You will remove all decorations/ food / food containers / balloons / castles at the end of the hire. All such items must be removed from the site and not left in the club refuse bins.

c) The Club reserves the right to terminate the hire at any time should the behaviour of the hirer and/or their guests in the opinion of the Club be unacceptable.

d) The hirer nor guests will serve alcohol in the confines of the Club or Club Grounds.

e) The hirer will ensure that the hire ends at the time specified in the booking form.
f) The deposit will be forfeit if any rules of the Club are not adhered to without prejudice to the Club seeking further redress.

g) The site is a no smoking site.
h) The Club nor its members will not bear any responsibility for goods brought onto the site by the hirer.

i) The Club nor its members will not bear any responsibility for injury to the hirer or their guests save if the injury is caused by the negligence of the Club or its members.

j) The hirer is reminded that the Club is a Cricket Club and that the members have access to all parts of the Club at all times. Hirers wishing to have exclusive use of one part of the Club will be expected to make special arrangements with the Club such arrangements being agreed in writing between the Club and the hirer. 

k) Hirers and their guests will park their vehicles in the car park provided at the scoreboard end of the ground. Unloading and deliveries will be allowed to access the area outside the bar and pavilion but only for unloading and deliveries such vehicles being removed to the car park before the functions begins.

l) The Club have no problem allowing guests to leave vehicles in the Club site overnight but the Club cannot guarantee that the gate will be locked nor can access the following day at specific times be guaranteed. 

m) The Club nor its members will not be responsible for vehicles left overnight nor during the time that the function is being held.

Payment is by £50 non-returnable deposit with the balance paid in full by the day before the event. In default, the Club reserves the right to offer the date for rebooking. 

If any specific requirements are needed for your function, they need to be advised in writing at the time of booking. A failure to do so may result in disappointment.

The Club is cash free and all payments must be by credit or debit card.
