Prescot & Odyssey currently have 3 open age teams who play on a Saturday & Sunday. 

The club is commonly referred to as P&O across the leagues. 

The P&O 1st Team currently plays in the Premier Division of the Southport & District Amateur Cricket League.

Throughout the season, the Team also take part in several cup competitions which include the Southport & District Amateur Cricket League Sandhurst Shield and the Liverpool Echo Knock Out Cup.

The P&O 2nd Team currently plays in Division Three of the Southport & District Amateur Cricket League whilst also participating in the Southport & District Amateur Cricket League - Pochin Cup.

Southport & District Amateur Cricket League Table - Play-Cricket.com

The P&O 3rd Team has now joined the Liverpool & District 3rd XI Sunday Leagues to allow all of our players to experience competitive cricket. This allows the club to supply open age cricket to all of our players on both Saturdays and Sundays making it more flexible for everyone.

The 3rd Team enjoys a great mix of games from playing competitive 40 over games against other Sunday teams to playing T20 games on a Friday night to break the weekend in with a smile!

We have a great range of all ages, abilities and backgrounds throughout the team which allows us to help mentor new players whilst allowing our youth players to experience their first ever games of open age cricket in a fun, friendly environment.

We are always on the lookout for new players to join in the fun of the 3rd Team so if you fancy a T20 game on a Friday night or a lovely Sunday afternoon playing 3rd XI Cricket then please contact us and we will be happy to get you involved.

During the season, all open age training takes place at the Prescot & Odyssey Cricket Club on  Burrows Lane.

We have two pitches which allows us to cater for all abilities and drills each team and individual requires. 

Training is open for all open aged players including new players so feel free to come down, join in or just watch and enjoy a beer whilst getting to know the players and committee. 

Training Hours:

- Tuesday: 5:30pm to 8:30pm

- Thursday: 5:30pm to 8:30pm

Note: Training hours are long to allow people to turn up and enjoy their time at their own leisure as we understand not everyone can start or stay until a certain time.
